Two positions in the Third Brigade (Dogs of War) SFMC staff are currently open. We anticipate another opening in the S-4 slot soon.
S-1, Admin & Personnel (Awards Focus)
S-2, Intelligence Officer (Planning Focus)

Must be a Starfleet Marine in good standing, with current registration. Must have completed PD-100 from the SFMC Academy. Must be at least 18 years of age, able and willing to participate in Brigade Official Communications Channels (e.g. mailing lists), and must be able to communicate via email or other electronic means in a timely manner, as well as able to communicate clearly using Federation Standard vocabulary and grammar.
Brigade S1 Admin & Personnel Officer – The Admin officer is responsible for two primary functions within the Brigade: Coordinating awards at the BDE level, including chairing the Awards ommittee – this means soliciting members for that committee as well – and ensuring our personnel are aware of applicable SFMC policies and regulations, along with other duties as assigned. Recommended Courses: PD-100.
Brigade S2 Intelligence Officer – The Intelligence Officer will be responsible for gathering, collating, and disseminating information to units within the Brigade centered around events of interest to SFMC Marines such as local cons, fandom gatherings – including but not limited to official Starfleet / SFMC events and those sponsored or of joint interest to MSG/MEU units and the Klingon Assault Group, the 501st Legion, the Browncoats, the Royal Manticoran Navy, and the GI Joe Cosplay fandoms – and will report that information to the Brigade newsletter. The S2 will also assist with coordinating, if necessary, joint operations between SFMC units and these fan groups in order to aid attendance and participation, along with other duties as assigned. Recommended Courses: PD-100.
Brigade S4, Quartermaster/Logistics Officer, has two primary responsibilities in the Brigade: maintaining inventory (and records associated therewith such as orders and sales) of Brigade-specific items (flags, challenge coins), and providing a regular report with appropriate illustrations and links (to QM sites, the CafePress store, etc.) to the Cry Havoc! Recommended Courses: PD-100.
Interested personnel should apply NLT 15 DEC 2018 at Midnight Central Daylight Time. Applicants should submit a letter of interest outlining their qualifications and plans for fulfilling the duties and a copy of SFI/SFMC transcripts showing the recommended courses. Successful applicants will be granted up to 120 days to complete any missing courses upon acceptance; failure to complete these will result in disqualification for the billet.
