No HTML, stylized text, etc.<\/li>\n<li class=\"body\">Limit signature blocks to six lines, including all information, decorations, quotations, and blank lines.<\/li>\n<li class=\"body\">No Flaming!<\/li>\n<li class=\"body\">Keep the subject of your e-mail relevant to the particular list that you&#8217;re a part of.<\/li>\n<li class=\"body\">No excessive quoting.<\/li>\n<li class=\"body\">If the subject of a discussion changes mid-thread, alter the subject line accordingly.<\/li>\n<li class=\"body\">No forwarding of private mail. Messages sent to you privately are not to be shared with the list without the permission of the author. The same applies for messages from limited-access mailing lists.<\/li>\n<li class=\"body\">No spam, chain letters, virus warnings (these can be sent to CompOps, who will verify and send out, if necessary), test messages, advertising, or &#8220;me too&#8221; posts.<\/li>\n<li class=\"body\">No adult content. Make sure the thread is something you would be willing to discuss at the dinner table with your grandmother, minister, and your friends&#8217; minor children present.
