2021 Third Brigade Marine Unit Reports<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Unit reports are due into the Battalion OIC if one exists, otherwise, the Brigade OIC, the first of every even numbered month. If received after the first but before the Battalion Reporting deadline, it will be recorded as late. The Battalion OIC is required to make an attempt to acquire the report before recording it as a failure to report (FTR) and must keep proof of this attempt. If the Battalion OIC does not receive the report before his own reporting deadline, the Unit will be recorded as \u201cFailure to Report\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mess Night or dining-in is a formal dinner for members of the Third Brigade. It provides an occasion for officers to meet socially at a formal military function. The purpose of a Mess Night or dining-in is to recognize individual and\/or unit achievements or any events that are effective in building and maintaining esprit de corps to include saying farewell to departing officers and welcoming new ones. A Mess Night or dining-in may also be held to honor one or more distinguished visitors. It is important to emphasize that a Mess Night or dining-in should be viewed as a manifestation of association rather than a mandatory formation for all parties. Don’t forget – this is a perfect time to show off your Class A uniform! Don’t forget to get your new SFMC rank pins from the SFMC QM<\/a> in time for this unique event! –<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come assemble with other elements of the Third Brigade. Learn about what’s going on, interact and discuss topics that appeal to Starfleet Marines on subjects ranging from modeling to costuming to which phaser is best. Marines, both active and reserve who sign the attendance roster will be eligible for Brigade Muster Award and possibly Embassy Duty or Marine Honor Guard depending on your level of involvement and\/or interaction with the Muster. So come, attend, make new friends, earn awards!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don’t need to me an active marine, Fleet members welcome but restricted to current SFI members. Brought to you by the Brigade’s S-2 Office<\/p>\n\n\n\n
