“It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear friend, SGT Marjie Chauvaux, who departed for her final duty station in November 2021,” writes RC MGN Jeremy Carsten.

“She was a STARFLEET Marine, and founding member of the 301st, and later, the USS Battle Born. She was the first ‘First Sergeant’ for the 301st – paving the way for NCO’s of our unit and chapter to come. She was a key part of the personalities that forged and flavored the 301st and USS Battle Born.

She loved her family, animals, Star Trek, fantasy, costuming, reading, and more. Her family had a small memorial for her in Nevada.

We will remember you for your kindness, your humor, and your sincerity in all things.
